Retired, but try to do what is asked of us.

Gardening and fishing.

Our parents.

When it comes to our church, I get most excited by...

gaining new insights, knowledge and perspectives from others. It seems like almost every Sunday there is something new that I get from Sunday school, the sermon, or just from talking during fellowship.

Areas of involvement with our church?

Have changed over the years. Missions Committee, greeter, and now group leader for Financial Peace University.

What is one of your hobbies?

Aikido, a Japanese martial art called “the way of harmony”, which I have been studying for 15 years.

If you were to write a book about your life, what would it be called?

“The Excellent Survivor”.

What is your favorite quote?

That’s hard as I have a quote collection. A recent favorite is “The only cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.”

Floyd: I like golf, and watching sports on tv.

We met on a blind date.

Floyd: I like reading biographies, i just recently read a biography on Julius Caesar.

Lanora: I mostly read mystery novels.
